I got my DQ from OLDNTATTED!!! OMG, Ray, it is gorgeous! When I opened the package Mom said "Wow! That is exquisite!" (She wants to hang it in her bedroom!) It has really detailed thread painting and some fan pins in the center. The outer fans are 3-D, and form pockets, where he included some other unique goodies! Evidently our ONT is a man of many talents: He makes one-of-a-kind pens from exotic wood and acrylics. I have a beautiful acrylic pen that matches the quilt, a small pen out of a beautiful exotic wood, and a key holder that is already on my keychain. The pen is on a lanyard and will be perfect for work, and I won't be able to lose it! LOL. The key chain looks like one of those colored cylinder hard candies you find in restaurants (but much bigger). Yum!
The quilt really is exquisite, as mom said. The silly guy included a note that said "Let me know if I could have done something better". What do you think he should have done better, folks? (Trick question, I already know the answer: He didn't make one for all y'all! LOL!!"
WOW, WOW, WOW!! Ray, I'm sending you big, big hugs. And I'm still working on yours. I have the top together, but I'm playing around with various quilting designs and trapunto. Mine isn't going to hold a candle to yours, but I'm working on it!

I received my june doll quilt too...AND WOW!!! it certainly puts the one i made to shame!it is so absolutely wonderful and even though it is quilt 'girly' my dh was very taken with it too...he was amazed that anyone would put so much into a doll quilt...OMG. i have to get pic;s taken and downloaded...i as so tickled by these, but really feel like i better get caught up on things and spend more time one these...mine have not been that cool i don't think.

YAY!!! I'm glad you like it!! I was very worried that it would be too girly and pink (I'm not a pink person, but I fell in love with that doll quilt!)
I love the one you sent me - the fabrics are so pretty, and with such little pieces - I don't know how you had the patience!
I think we had a great swap!!
