I love the colors in the quilt from kwhite, and the ice cream
cone looks good, it's not hot today but I sure could have used it yesterday. LOL

Chele is correct, the ice crean cone is paper pieced from the quilterscache website.

I had trouble parting with it, but I am glad the ice cream cone has a new home!!!

Received my doll quilt from "rose of sharon"
Thank you so very much for making my first swap a wonderful experience. I just love it, the colors are great. It was almost as good as waiting for Christmas and then opening the package was so much fun.

Thank you also for the fat quarter and little sewing machine charm. That will be sewn on my guild name plate. I just love that you made your label into a little pocket. I may have to borrow that idea.
The card was a very clever idea also, so thoughtful of you.

I too am a newbee at quilting. I have been sewing since before I could walk it seems but only quilting for about 5 years.
So when are you considered not a newbee anymore?

Thanks for organizing it for everyone Chele.

    Have a splendid weekend everyone.

RofS--what a terrific little quilt and so glad betc has had such a wonderful newbie experience amongst us.

kwiltkrazy--getting the top done; blocks are pieced now to put the borders around it; then the FMQ. then off to the WEST!

vbourck - I delivered your quilt to the Post Office today, and they predicted it should arrive Monday (or Tuesday at the latest). Let me know if you don't get it.

That's great Gladie, but don't stress yourself out, I know how busy you are, are you rested up at all.

I know how to wait patiently. Grew up with seven siblings. Though I have a very special place picked out for it, the first masterpiece for my new sewing room.
