June 2010 Doll Quilt Swap -- Lucky #13
#591
I received my lovely doll quilt from jljack last night when I got home from NY. It's even prettier in person. Thank you, Janice!! It's so pretty...I just love it!! You do beautiful work. She also sent me some goodies...a nice prayer, a clip for my scissors and a peanut bar. I love everything. Thank you so much! :) Here are some pictures. My 8 year old daughter took the bottom picture. I think it shows the true colors of the silk fabrics. The colors are so rich looking in person.

And I must highlight the hand-quilted "baptist fan" design on the light blue denim background.
Please note the lovely chain stitch on the label Barb put on the back.
I am so lucky to have such a talented partner and what a lovely addition to our doll quilt show. Thanks again, Barb, from Kathy in Colorado

I had fun making this one. This was the first time I tried making the chenille and also using the crayons with the embrodery. Both are real easy to do. Glad you liked it.
