Thank you all. Mom loves butterflies and her living room is done in shades of blue so I could not resist.

The pattern is "Butterfly in the Round" by Cheryl Phillips Check out http://www.phillipsfiberart.com

So very excited, actually found time to work on my DQ for about an hour this morning. Had to laugh a little as I had to do a TON of math since I changed the size and had to redo it all from the first pattern I decided on! But it's progress! This swap sure has been keeping me excited about quilting and being able to finish projects. My DH mentioned the other day that it's nice to see some UFO's getting finished and sent to the intended recipients. I don't think he realizes as my stash diminishes, that it MUST be replaced! :)

How CUTE! I would have never thought of using bottle caps and doing a turtle. You are so clever Dotty. That is great!

All I have left to do is my label, then I'll be mailing.
It was my first try at freezer paper applique for curved pieces. 8-) It was a fun quilt to make.

Can't wait to see them. Seeing everybody's projects is almost as fun as making them. More fun, depending on how many problems the pattern is giving me. LOL.
