    Nancy in Louisiana...your doll quilt is awesome..the design, colors and your quilting make it a very special quilt. You did a beautiful job.

    Thank you -- can't take credit for the pattern -- a very similar one was in a very recent quilt mag. The sewing machine came from a different book (I liked it better than the one in the mag). I wish now that I had turned one of the spools over onto its side. Next time ....+ Very simple pattern to do, and a great quilt for free hand quilting practive.

    karielt hasn't let me know if she received my quilt, so I am posting a pic of it because I just love it!!! And I REALLY almost kept it!! :-o It's just about my favorite I have done.

    jljack--really like the one you received from karielt; but love the 9P wonder you made with the April Cornell fabrics!
    Are finished 9P 3" or 2.25"?

    2.25 I think. Each square started out 1-1/4", so finished at 3/4". So, yes 2.25. It's all strip pieced, so easier than it looks. I added the little applique bud...it just sort of needed something!
