Kele that is the prettiest summer looking needle book. I think it is so cheerful, and pretty inside and out. Such pretty pins. I like the pretty card, and I love skittles. I like that sun on the front of it. There is so much talent on this swap. I love our board. Good job PeginCo.

I also love that picture of the bird, and the setting it's in. That reminds me, we have a place not too far from us called ' The Blue Heron Inn". I like seeing wildlife, and flowers in their natural setting. I love wildflowers, but always try to have my annuals too.

Who besides me loves 'Queen Anne's Lace'? Some around where I live that are not too much into wild flowers think of it as a weed, but not me. Others are like me and adore it. I also love the wild daisies, and wild tiger lilies.

    Have a great day everyone.

JuneBillie I have some different trype of wild flowers growing in our backyard, they are blue and open in the morning when it's cool and close when it's warmed up and the sun is high, Actually they are weeds but really are pretty, they are in two of our flower beds...

Looks like you all have been busy this week without me! I have made some room in my inbox, boy does it fill up fast! Now you can all update me on what you have been doing, and fill it up again! You are all doing wonderful work, as usual. I have finally decided what I want to try to create, now to see if I can do it.

DH pruned my hydrangea for me. We moved the plant earlier because the city will be doing water line replacement work and I was afraid it would be destroyed. So I figured the shock would mean no flowers this year. Then hubby thought he would be nice and prune the deadwood. Unfortunately hydrangea's bloom on the old wood so he cut off all the flower buds. Oh well, it will be back next year.

    Ladybug those flowers sound pretty.

Lauriejo glad you got your box cleaned up. I am glad you still have your hydrangea bush. I had a beautiful butterfly bush in bloom last year, and now it's dead along with a pine tree, and a green decorator type evergreen tree. The two trees have been here for about 13 years so I don't know what happened.

kele, what a nice needlecase.we have baby Canadian geese on the golfcourse, and alot of the men don't think that they're that cute. I however, think they are. I used to take my son to a 'fairy garden' a few towns over under the rr tracks to see blue herons, we'd watch them by the little waterfall. they are so pretty.
Everyone is getting such nice goodies in the mail. I worked on my hexes today, i will for the rest of my life. My rose bush is doing great. it was almost dead when we moved in, and i chopped the living daylights out of it. it has about 100 buds now.
    everyone, have a great evening

I just got up from a long nap and thought I should get caught up on how the exchange is going and wow there are some really pretty and creative pin cushions and needle books being exchanged. I have my needle book done so I can put it in the mail tomorrow. Surprise it will be on its way before the end of the month! Need to get the pincushion done now so maybe I can work at stuffing it tonight. Lynnie would you like some WA fabric for your hexies? In the beginning fabrics did some for the State Shop Hop a few years back and I still have some.

My, this is a busy little thread! Kele, you are most welcome. And Lynnie, since you asked....this is what Claire (age 10) did today while I shopped with her older sister, Delaney.

I proudly put it over my oven door and intend to use it!
