Today is zoey's 4h birthday.
I got her some well cooked bacon for her birthday today.
She's going to the dude ranch with Chowder later. so get ready for a story.

made 5 washcloths between last night and now. giving my fingers a rest from the hexes.

I wish I was able to see a pic of your wash cloths lynnie. I am now curious about the home made soap too. My mom made the crocheted dish rags to scrub dishes with. Dad still uses them to this day.

Nothing from Laurie yet. I guess when she is ready she will let us know. We may be starting a little later than usual but I'm sure the due date will be later also. I know we are all anxious but for me Laurie's health is more important.

We have had some very muggy weather. I heard a weather man say that the humidity was so thick in some places that you could wear the air. Yikes!

Happy Birthday to Zoey. I hope she had fun last night. I'm almost ready to go out and do yard sales but it's already hot. I only did a few yesterday but I did get some linen fabric to make the Tilda doll. I have a piece of my own that would make about 200 of them but do you think I can find it. I also got a vintage pincushion. I usually don't find pincushions. I'm really surprised that we haven't heard from Laurie yet. I hope that everyone has a great day

The last I heard from Laurie she had a horrific trip to visit family (train delays for multiple reasons) She arrived late but safe and was having a very nice visit. Maybe that is why we haven't heard from her. NhNative I love the lady pincushion she is so elegant. And that looks like a lot of beautiful glass salt and pepper shakers behind her. I am going to be very busy with sewing for a friend and then inventory for craft shows coming up. My daughter says mom how are you going to keep up with all of it. Lord willing I just will. I have VBS that I am getting ready for that starts on Monday, I hope we get a lot of children. I definitely am signing up for July and I will probably do a needle book but I love my pin cushions the jury is still out.
