I waited until 1:30 and then called the plumber and my Home Warranty. Now it's 5 and haven't heard from either one of them. I guess that means no new heater today. For some reason I still have hot water. I even turned it to off on the front of it. I hope they come early tomorrow as I have an oil change at 2 and it's 22 miles from here. This couldn't have happened last week when I didn't have to babysit. The hedgehog pincushion sounds cute. It's 84 here and looks like a thunderstorm coming. You are welcome about the scraps. Everyone have a great night

Pat, so sorry you got stood up. On the bright side, it's not winter. mine went out on January 3 or 4th. It sucked raw eggs!!!. but what a pain when you have to wait for someone, who doesn't show up and doesn't have the courtesy to call you!.
on to the hexes again, got a column done today, working on a row tonight. Need to find time to make next month pc. going west tomorrow to meet with a fellow qb'er. later my friends.

My June needlebook from NanaKathy55
This is the pretty needlebook I received from Kathy (nanakathy55) I tried to show the inside also as it has some pretty homemade pins and has lots of extra pockets on the inside of the cover. She did a very nice job on it. Thanks Kathy. She also sent a tiny chick,2 little magnets and a very sweet poem with a tiny spool on it. The card looked homemade also and was so cute. What a great swap. Thanks again Kathy,I love it all. I'm a very big fan of homemade items. I almost forgot the cute weather vane she sent. I already put it out with my wind chimes.

What a nice needlecase. I guess everyone is getting bit by the beaded pin bug. And a lot of great goodies too.
Well I finally heard from my Home Warranty and so with the new water heater, permit from the city, new copper pipes, carbon monoxide detector, heater removal, my deductible, and I think something else I have to pay $465. I guess it could have been worse as they said it would have been near $1000. And they are not coming until tomorrow. I just got back from the ride and in 45 minutes leaving for the oil change. It's 85 out and hot and humid. Everyone stay cool today
