I just checked my weather for the 4th of July and it's going to be 75 with a low of 50. Woo Hoo Not that I'm going anywhere. I'm glad it's not going to hit Mrytle Beach and you either.

Karen that puppy is so cute. Thanks for the welcome back everyone. Today is a beautiful day.partly sunny low humidity and 78* and a slight wind. Pretty day thought I would do some laundry. My washer won't quit filling with water.It's old so I guess I need to get another one. I really enjoyed seeing the flower pictures and yard ones too. I guess everyone received their pc's and nb's for june huh? Any more news on Laurie? Anyone made anything new that you can post a picture of? Maybe a new table topper or pot holder? I like to see pictures, they help fill in until we get new swaps going. Oh and Lynnie your hexie quilt is really looking good and growing quickly.

Our weather. icky very hot about 90* and 100% humidity. Raining torrential just 2 towns away. dark at 5 pm tonight
We're supposed to get severe weather tonight and down to 72*. warning all over the tv. 4th is supposed to rain badly here. a 4th party inside just isn't a party. don't know what we're going to do.
Mary, glad you're back amoung us. can't wait for the swap to begin. making wash/face cloths still. will make some for dh's boss. i make her something every year. any suggestions of what else to do?? have a great night all.

Mary, I can sympathize with you over the washer. ours is 8yrs old, and needs a $300 part. Our tv just went and the new one is comming on Saturday. when it rains, it pours. or washer won't let cold water in. every cycle has cold or warm, and warm of course is hot and cold mixed. it's a front loader to boot.

I took my dear dad shopping today, and it was so hot. I am so glad to be in the air conditioned house. Bought me a big bag of fresh sweet cherries. Yum!

I have to go to the post office this afternoon to hopefully get a package with some buttons. I can't wait to see them.
