What kind of Doctors would ask such a stupid question Lynnie??? All my Doctors loved the little gifts I bring them at Christmas and ask, oh, do you quilt too??? My mother use to quilt and on it goes, have only one female doctor and all the rest are men... To young to flirt with me.. LOL Where is a pattern for the chicken pin cushion or are you all ignoring my question??? Know you aren't but if I am going to get into this swap I need to know... hugs

Here are a couple sites with chicken pincushion patterns. You can also google chicken pincushion patterns and a lot will come up. Hope this helps.

I think that's why I freaked out seeing the raccoon in the garage during the day. I had heard that but it might have been because of the flood in the area and he was looking for food. The sewer system goes under my garage and out to the street. I know I had at least 4 of them but since I'm not out at night I haven't seen them.

Default Guess what I got today......

I went into my kitchen and my husband had brought in the mail and sat it on the kitchen table. Of course he never said a word. I don't know how long it sat there. Anyway I had a package from Pat (nhnative) and another from Claire (peginco daughter)So I have lots of pictures. probably need two posts to show them. First is from Pat a very nice pin cushion made with folded fabric, some glass head pins in a stackable case, some pretty homemade pins one had a tiny yo-yo on it. Also a matching needlebook,a small tablet with a cute kitty on it and a very nice card. Also a spring/summer wall panel Thank You Pat you did a very nice job on it all and packaged it nicely.I have swapped with Pat before and she always sends a very special package.

    Default My swap from Claire

This is a very nice swap from our little Claire. She made a fancy pin cushion with rick rack around it and even some embroidery on it.It's very heavy and big so will be very useful. She also sent some pretty patriotic homemade pins and some tea.Which I love tea.The candy looks good and I will have a couple, but hope you don't mind if I share with 2 of my great grandkids as I am a diabetic on insulin. Your little card was very sweet. Thanks for all the work you put into making this a special swap for me.Keep up the great work. I loved it all. Hugs Maryp.s. I laughed when I seen the card made out to Mrs. Lawson. Please just call me Mary.lol

Wow, Mary, you really made out! What wonderful packages you got from Pat and Claire.
Pat, your pincushion looks exactly like I one I received from Kele. Cool!

Mary you are so welcome and glad you liked it.

Karen I was surprised to see the one that Kele made for you. I almost said something but Mary hadn't gotten her package yet. It's a pretty easy pattern but you need a printed foundation for it. I'm so glad that you are going to host the swaps from now on. Now it looks like I have to get busy

What a cute pincushion Claire. Aren't you glad that you are in the swaps, we sure are.

Oh what gorgeous pincushions, and needle case.

I love them both from Pat and Claire. You girls did a great job on them. Very patriotic.

Mary you have some nice goodies. Those jolly ranchers are yummy. You have lots of pretty cards too.
More pretty special pins for your pincushions. The matching needle case looks perfect. You can relax with your yummy tea.

The pincushion that Claire made looks reversible, and both sides are so pretty. I like the touch of ric rac.
That is such a pretty wall hanging you got from Pat.
