    Hi Lynnie,

Some of the fabrics have a native to Alaska appeal. Batiks have a lot of wildlife that is also native to Alaska. My most favorite shop to order online from is in Skagway, AK (never been there-only in my dreams) https://www.rushintailor.com/ There are several Quilt fabric and pattern designers from Alaska. I will try to take a few pics of some of the fabric and their patterns. My son took me to a new shop on Saturday that was celebrating their first anniversary and my DGD's and I hit 2 today in Anchorage and a JoAnns. It rained here all day....so not so much fun of shoppin'. Tomorrow, my DGD's (9 and 7 yrs) will start on a couple projects they bought fabric for in Saturday. We will go to Wasila and Palmer on Wednesday. Wasila has a quiltshop that I haven't hit since 2008 only because DH thought I had enough.....(who says that ?????). He's not with this trip, so I'm hittin' them all. Hope to go towards Homer and Seward this weekend. There is a couple great shops in those two places.
Hope all is well with everyone.

Robinlee, thank you so much for the link to the quilt shop in Alaska. I saved it to my favorites. The fabric they have is beautiful!

Guess what I got in the mail? A mug rug! Yes, the first one this month. What did I win? Oh, that's right, we don't give out prizes for receiving the first one, do we? If we did, the prize would go to KLTQuilts for sending out the first package. Hmmm ... something to think about, right??

Katie made a very patriotic little birdie who decorated his home for the holiday, complete with American flag. Now, is he darling or what? Thanks, Katie! I enjoyed being your partner this month!

Oh, yes - almost forgot about the extra little goodies! I even got a FQ with birdhouses on it! Thanks for everything, Katie!

So far this month, 4 mug rugs mailed, one received. This week should produce a few more photos of mug rugs.

And, by the way, I sent my package to KLTQuilts today during my lunch break; it will arrive on Friday! Yay!

My package shipped off the Australia today - she said anywhere between 5-10 days. This was a neat swap, lots of cute mugrugs. Anxious to receive mine too..

Pamela that is such a cute mug rug with your sweet patriotic bird and bird house. Pretty fabric too. I love that little flag on the bird house. You get 1st place in congratulations on being the first to receive her mug rug. Nice work Katie.

I also heard from my special partner Scrapper for this month. We are on our way.
