Oh! Look at the end of the sleeves! And the veil is just stunning! What a beauty! Your husband certainly was thrilled with you!

SBG, My mother, sister, and I used to go antiquing when I was younger. I remember the '50-year-old' idea for dating something to be an antique. My sister and I considered the objects from the 1920's as antiques, but my mother didn't. Now her feeling becomes crystal clear! lol From the 60's! From the 60's!! When did that happen?! My gosh, an antique from the 60's. There's a new thought.

I know... we are antiques, by that criteria!

Awe thanks, but you know as we are there comes the wrinkles, rolls, Arthur, etc.. Oh to be young again. NOT. She wouldn't let me use the end of the sleeves which I wanted to, keep it simple mom. So I elaborated on the bonnet. Kept all the lace a,d veil. Who knows, if I'm still living for her 1 st communion it will once again come out the closet

Granyrose, beautiful wedding dress and baby gown. Great job.

Thinking of great job, all the blocks I’ve Seeing are lovely. I’m still at 15 finished, and undetermined amount 1/3 -1/2 done. I’m trying to keep a block for myself of each block. I’m really liking this process. I’m glad I still have 2 weeks to finish. Which is very doable. Happy sewing everyone.

I saw another beautiful setting for scrappy 9 patches tonight. Someone brought this quilt to my charity group, to donate. It's actually just 9P and snowball, set on point.

Sorry I couldn't get a better picture... it was dim in that room.

Yes, I saw that too, 9patches and snowballs, but what I saw was set square. I like it better on point, and ending with the snowballs looks nice with the triangles seeming to make part of a star. It was clever that they used all purple for the outside of the snowball, sort of making a border with them. Not sure that is what I'd do, but it looks very nice.

If we did nine patches with white, would we all use the same white such as a Kona snow or would it be all different whites? Has anyone had experience with different whites in same quilt?
