Check out the free patterns at www.quiltedtwins.com/free-patterns-layout-2/ . She has some interesting settings for 9P.

Had a wonderful shop hop/quilt show bus trip last Thu & Fri. Younger DD was home for a few days as she was in a wedding; she left yesterday to fly out to Iceland. Tomorrow we go to older DD's home for a visit and will return Sunday evening.

I have cut my strips and have sewn 2 sets of 10. Trying to get a picture with my phone at night is a challenge. The Riley Blake print is combined with a turquoise print, but in this lighting, it shows up as almost white. It didn't help that the two pics I took were both on print ironing board covers. I will look at them again tomorrow before we leave, if I can. If not, it'll have to wait until Sunday.

Monday I will be sewing to get caught up!

Riley Blake prints are lovely. One of my favorite designers. Your blocks look great, as well as the ironing board cover.

PeaceandJoy, your blocks are so pretty. I love those little seagulls on red!

I’m still sewing too. I made #90 tonight...

Love all the quits using 9-patches. For using the nine patches with a white background,I love this idea and would like one. I didn't think that in a swap such as we are doing, the whites would be all different. The idea of everyone using the same white would be best. For myself I would do the swap with the same white.
Are we doing the next swap with turquoise?
I was born in 37, is that why my bones creak?
Granyrose, your gown is beautiful. You mentioned your mother, did she make the gown for you?

Looks like the next swap is on. I haven't finished this one yet! I'm not going to worry, just plug away. I am having problems with the size and the points meeting.

I mailed my 9Ps off to SBG!

Now to look at the patterns and decide what to make with all these very cute 9Ps.

I mailed a package off today also. Thought I'd better finish up since it's about to get real busy around here with travel. Looking forward to my return package--and the next swap! Love all of the pictures. Hope to get some help with posting pictures one day. Sally
