That is cute! Tonight I started sewing rows of 10 9Ps together for my quilt. I am a stickler for seams matching and it's not always working because I'm finding the center squares bigger than 2" in a lot of blocks. For that reason, I would suggest you work with your blocks separately, maybe with sashing or alternate blocks, rather than trying to sew them directly together, like I am.

Cheese, I see my block for you with the fabric from the last boom!
. In fact, I see several! Boy, that just makes my day to see how wonderfully you quilted them! This is already beautiful. Cannot wait to see it finished.

I'm only to the half way point on this quilt but thought I would show you the progress so far. I chose two quilt patterns that I hope will make a cool secondary pattern on the backside. One pattern is used in the 9 patches and the half squares and triangles get a different pattern.

Wow, I have missed so much here! We moved in about 3 weeks ago but still have no internet at the house. I really miss my daily chatting on the QB with everyone! But, I have spent my time usefully. I finished my quilt made from all of your lovely 9-patches. When my DH saw it his comment was, "Wow! It's gorgeous!!"

Our house doesn't have AC so I will be quilting it once the weather cools down. (It's not until you go cold turkey from AC in 100* weather that you realize how used to it we are!) We are settling in nicely and I love the house.

Hi NZ! Your top is gorgeous! Love those beautiful wood floors in your new house, too. I hope all is going well there since the move. No A/C? Ugh. Hope it's not as hot and humid there as it has been here in MS. Good to hear from you! Hope you get your internet soon.

Just to be sure you know, I did receive my blocks. They came in while I was on vacation. Thank you all so much for the wonderful blocks. They are so pretty. I spent the evening taking them out of the bags, petting them, touring thru all the beautiful combinations and dreaming. Then had to put them away so I can finish up a cancer quilt I have been working on. They will get used here shortly.
