Love all the blocks I have been seeing. I did measure my middle block and it is exactly 2 inches. After working 15 hrs yesterday, ( the joys of nursing) I am looking forward to going downstairs to my sewing room when I get home tonight from our Missing Childrens even at Summit Mall. Have my material ready for my second set of blocks. Thinking about doing the ten but keeping one set for myself.

Rainly start to the day here but plan to sew some 9 patches before we go to granddaughter's birthday party.

Billi, that's a beautiful quilt! I like the idea of floral 9 patches.

I have 8 new blocks completed today and am ready to work on some new colors. I have a couple of dozen I made after sending the last round’s blocks. It’ll take me a couple of weeks at least to finish. I’m not speedy like others. I really like to take my time. I enjoy this simple but fun process.

D.Henson, I bet that rally is fun with all the vintage models. Love the blocks. Terrific contrast making them pop!

Billi, Love your floribunda. Mine is still sitting in a cabinet, unquilted. Boo. Florabunda 9Ps are an excellent idea.

Maude, those sloths are the best. Am hoping for one. Fingers crossed.

    Enjoy your weekend everyone.

Janice, mine too, but in a box. I made so many blocks, and swapped so many, that I have enough to make two quilt tops with them. I have several swap results in various stages of incompletion, sad to say! * roll my eyes* I'm making a big effort to forge ahead with the last 9P swap block though! I'm working on it today.

I think the question is who doesn't want a sloth? hahahaha because I sure do it's too dang cute.

Givo I have many swap blocks hanging around but I'm committed to finish the March/April round of 9 patches now.
    SBG's quilt has me inspired.

I drew a pattern of her quilt

Then I copied it and separated it into 4 sections

I'll make it in sections then sewing them together it cuts down on the big long rows and helps me keep my mistakes to a minimum.

    Section 4 done

so far I'm pleased with the progress.

That's great, Billi! Your blue is such a pretty color. Are you going to quilt it in 4 sections too? It would be nifty for QAYG on a domestic machine. Nice size-- I see you wrote 66 x 78.

I've made several stars today with a very pale yellow background. Moving on to a different background color now. I'm on the downhill slide, about 20 more blocks to make.
