oh its sounds so much like busy busy people are quilting at the same time. wow! I loved Alaska when I went so I went back and bought a home in Haines. It was stunningly beautiful but a whole lot of grizzles loved the river right across the street from the home enjoying the fresh salmon that abounded. I ended up selling and buying a place in the bay area as well it was the right decision at the time. Not sure which was safer honestly. I know which was prettier.
I think we will be seeing a few shortly. Lynnie why don't you have your son pick up stamps for you at the post office from their machines? you know dollar and regular priced ones/ then you could put things in an envelope and put them in an express mail or a regular postal drop after hours? just a thought. I have often had to have someone get me stamps then put the amount I guesitimated what was necessary and mailed at my own hazard. it has worked so far so worth a thought on that.
I hope that everyone is having fun. This is a truly interesting month with two swap ideas for your partners to chose from. We will be getting all sorts of things in the mail shortly and the variety will be stunning I know it! cant wait to see your picnic themes and your patriotic themed mug rugs come rolling in. Yes it is going to be a great day when they start showing up on the board.

still working on the hexies, will be all summer. I'm in desperate need of greens now. cut all mine up last night Today, i'll put flowers together, so on Monday, I can start putting them all together.

I received my mug rugs from Jaba yesterday and I love them! We agreed on patriotic and she sent me two. She also sent a tissue holder, thread, candy and a card. Sorry the candy isn't in the picture. Thank you so much Jan! Yours will be in the mail on Monday.

Karen, really cute mug rugs from Jaba and nice extras, too!
Made good progress on my mug rug today. Just need to doing the binding tomorrow, if all goes well. Thought I would make another one like it for my DSL. We are meeting for lunch Monday, so hope I can get another finished by then.
When I went to the quilt shop yesterday to pick up a few little "extras", I saw the cutest quilt for a little boy which they had kitted. Reasonably priced and the perfect print of dump trucks, etc. which my 3 year old DGS loves. Just had to get it! Did I need another quilt project, not really, but he will love it, I think. Luckily the lady that was checking me out asked me if I had the pattern. It had not entered my mind! Saved me a trip back to the store.

Great to see the first mug rugs posted! Beautiful and patriotic, Jaba!
I've been quilting a fairly big (for me) quilt today on my Juki. I'm straight line quilting it and nearly done now. Just taking a break. It's not a fancy quilt, just a cozy one made of old recycled shirts. Those are my favorite for sleeping under....
