I just walked in the door and guess what was in my mail box- my June mug rug from Nam62. She made me a mug rug with the cutest ants. It has a big chicken drumstick in the middle. It's great. I also received a Texas cup holder, lots of m&ms, a special tea bag, some cookies and a big letter K. She also made me patriotic coaster. I love each and everything. I feel so special she made a mug rug just for me and the goodies along with the coaster are great too. I'll try to get some pictures posted tonight if I don't fall asleep first. It's jungle hot here and the heat just zaps me.

They are awesome and perfect! and that beautiful purple is a 1/2 yard! Thank you again Karen...My sewing room is done!! I am so happy tonight I cried even, it is perfect for me and what I do. Will show you tomorrow..emotion's tonight

I heard today that we lost someone over the whole debate on whether to send a bunch or things or nothing or just nothing and fabric and it made me sad. I think it was an open discussion and the fact we lost someone over it is very disheartening to me. We did decide to leave things as are to make the majority happy. Sigh I guess its true you cant make them all happy but I truly do try.
I love the mug rugs that are done here and love seeing the pictures of each and every one. I wish I could see the ant and the chicken one! it sounds adorable! I think quite a few more are to come and look forward to each and every one of them.

I have received the most adorable patriotic mug rug and package of goodies from my swap partner nhnative, Pat! She spoiled me so much and I love every single thing she included for me. I am a lucky girl! She sent me fabrics, peppermint teas, darling little fabric basket, a thimble that just fits (I collect them) and the most gorgeous handiwork in doilies and embroidered pretties! She also included a nice card and fun postcard from her state. I have thanked her, but also want to thank her here! We've had so much fun chatting back and forth and she loves so many of the same things that I do! Yahoo! Thanks again Pat!
