Our 50's and 60's temps are gone for the summer! It's hot here. Not even cool enough to open windows at night anymore. I did enjoy that while it lasted.

My kitchen towels are all packaged up and sitting in the mailbox with the flag up! They will go on their way tomorrow and I hope they travel fast and direct. Can't wait for Teresa to get them.

Y'all probably don't want to know how hot it gets here. Last weekend we broke records (again), it was 114 Friday, 116 Saturday and 114 on Sunday. Welcome to summer in the desert! And it barely cools down to the 80's overnight, and once we get into July and August and the monsoons come in, it doesn't go below 90 overnight, and the highs can be in the 110+ range with higher humidity and dewpoints. So summer is our hibernation time!
I get to pick up my sewing machine tomorrow and take the little Singer in to see what that would cost to repair. Oh boy!

It's 81 now but going to be 92 tomorrow and then back down to 74. I think the average for this time of year is 78. 90 is bad so there is no way I would like it over 100. I would not leave the house. I'm hoping to finish my dishtowels and mail out on Monday. Everyone have a great day

Oh look look look! My towels came from Jaba today. Aren't they so pretty. I pinned them to the wall so you can see how well the colors match. My walls are a golden peach same as the fabric. In the pictures it looks tan or cream. So Jan did a great job of matching. She even made a pot holder to match. These are wonderful Jaba thank you so much. Your a fun swapper.

I'll wait lawsonmugs, they will be here. So glad you like your towels and that they match your kitchen. Guess I guessed right on those. Still practicing on those pot holder's but you can always use it for the bar-b-que

And thank you so much for the awesome feedback, appreciated!!

What pretty towels by Jaba! Love the pot holder too.

Yay... the first pic of the swap!

Mine went on their way to my partner today. First class mail, so it may take a few days.
