To my SP, I know you are probably anxious and waiting for your package but since I live in a very small town and evidently they seem to have something against one of the things you collect I decided to embroider some on item for you. Well since I have never really embroidered before other than simples lines and such it is taking me longer than I thought it would. Please bear with me. I'm also hoping to get a couple of other little items made for you. I promise to get it out as soon as possible. Okay here is another clue your live 854 south of me.

I'm hoping to get to the first International Quilt Festival of Ireland which is in Galway this weekend and I want to see if I can pick up some of the things that she might like. This will be a big stock up shopping trip for me as we don't have many quilt shops here and there is to be a Quilters Village with a lot of stalls so I will be going with an empty suitcase and coming home with an empty purse.

I hope I'm your sp! I don't care if it doesn't get mailed until July. Your country is so beautiful and when I was there I wasn't a quilter yet so you can be sure that I would love it all. Just take your time, Linda.

OFF Topic but had to share~ today I played around with "tea-dying" and I just love the way it turned out! I have been getting doilies to make a project for a while now. Some of them are stained and some aren't as white as others, etc. so I decided to tea dye some of them...have heard about it being done but never tried it before. Definitely makes them look more vintage and more like they "belong" together

~where are the seahorses???? i missed those also. what post are they?

~and who said the ps squares had to be straight?? my iron has attacked my several times and left burn marks so i am leaving it alone.

~yep i used to do tea dying in my garment sewing days and it can be nice as long as it comes out even.

~i am feeling a bit stressed so i am brewing up a gallon of mint & chamomile tea and a gallon of orange spice & ginger tea. i am hoping one of these will serve the purpose of keeping me from the gigantic margaritas that are dancing around in my head.

~i am preparing to go up to indianapolis to go job hunting. i called a friend about lodging at her home. she in turn tells me there's a company where i live that she is interested in working. so she may be living at my apartment and i living in her home during the work week and we both commuting home (4 hrs) on the weekend. oh what fun.

okay off to finish organizing my space.
