I am making those also (the embroidery earrings like K is making).

She has been corrupting ME (again) and i have been getting more
    designs.

I have developed this "liking" for making earrings because they are
pretty, easy and FAST to make, the hardest part is picking the colors.

I also made some peacock feathers and LOVE those!

HERE is a picture of some earrings I made this week 2 sets of peppermint
candy (one ALL metallic thread, the other with a little metallic), ladybugs,
    feathers, and, seahorses.

I have sand dollars, pink ribbons and can't remember what else still on the
hoop waiting for more to finish "filling" up the hoop.

But I LOVE K's different color seahorses.

    Vodka? What vodka? *hic*
I love, love, love the sand dollars. Making them in sets of earrings and pendants ... but what to hang the pendants from? I'm now running some in white with glitter thread details (no, not real glitter ... more like a shiney translucent thread -- laser colors) but what a PITA to stitch out. I need to try the needles Louise just sent me ... and then I will also run some sets with organza in the middle! No sand dollars for stinky girls so be nice!

Louise, those are fabulous. A note to someone who shall remain nameless ... I was going to buy the ladybug earrings to make some ... but someone else who shall remain nameless beat me to the punch, so I am bugless.

    K,

Did you get the needles yet? TRY them, I am almost SURE that you
are going to find a BIG improvement with stitching out metallic thread
    and FSL.

In fact that is about the ONLY needles I seem to use anymore for ALL
embroidery because I find that everything just stitches out so nice for
    me with them.
