I agree Patti. And the turnout for this is just awesome!!
I'm sure the girls are going to LOVE them!

Everyone's blocks look awesome! These are going to be so cute. As soon as I wake up (overslept this morning - still not awake) I'm getting my butt to the post office and getting my sets mailed. Great job everyone!!! :D

Sent mine yesterday morning! Still can't believe the response!!!

I remember when I gave my nephew his quilt when he was 10, I whispered to him that every time he snuggled up in the quilt that it was a HUG from me.
A couple of months later, my Mom was getting him up to go to school and he was wrapped up in the quilt(like a mummy). She asked what he was doing, and he replyed" getting an extra big hug from Auntie today".
I still love to remember that ..............

I'm going in my sewing cave right now. I just saw this thread, and then read mimisharon's. It is Saturday, almost 4pm, but will work all evening. Will try to post, Monday, (have a dr. appt.) or Tuesday. Thanks, barb for coordinating, (hug4u), and thank you so much Terri, (hug4u2), for stepping up and putting it all together. It makes me cry to think of the sadness, and so awed by everyone here. You guys are all really something special. love you all, sending hugs.

Yep -- they're butterflies. It was a remnant at WalMart -- I thought it was so pretty but that was all they had. I bet the yellow is just as beautiful! (Do you have any use for a little bit of the pink? (It's approximately 10" x WOF).
