Sharon, sounds like you have everything just about ready for Roy's party. It's going to be a great time! He'll love it!
Reminds me....I thought I put his card in the mail, but oops, it's still sitting here on the desk. Will get that out as soon as I drop Courtney off at work. Post office is just down the hill from her work. You should have it by Saturday,,,,,I hope. Can't believe I didn't see it sitting here. UGH!
I've the cards all bundled in a pretty ribbon, it will take me weeks to get his scrapbook done. I'll send y'all a link to the webpage I end up putting his pictures on. He thinks it's a little bbq. lol lol I love surprising him!
Terri, not to worry, he loves getting cards and reads each one slowly and carefully.

Listen, there's no way I could put it all away. My bedroom is full of fabrics. wips, and it's going to stay that way. I have not even taken the ironing board down yet, Sat. morning is good time for that. lol I am having the thing in the yard but I refused to rent a stinky porta potty so they'll traipse in and out for the bathrooms. That's fine, they can walk around my room if they are curious or go home and talk about what a slob I am. It's sure not about my house, it's about my man! So wish all y'all could come, we'd have so much to talk about and since I'm putting out 10 tables and 50 chairs we'd have lots of sewing room.

    Hugs y'all

I just read through the posts and have come to the conclusion that since my blocks have not arrived yet that they were stolen along with other mail from our mail box. I just found out about the theft on Friday. Apparently several neighbor kids found a way to retrieve mail that had been placed in the out box on our community mail box. A neighbor let me know and when I made some calls and found out one of my bills never made it either. I did put a stop payment on the check but it really angers me that the blocks were stolen. I just wanted you all to know why my blocks were not received.

    Amma, it's ok. No problem!
I'll still add your name to the label. :)

Just a shame that people have to do things like that.

Well, no, I'm the one that missed the deadline but what angers me with myself..........they were done in time to mail, just couldn't get in to the PO!!!!!!!

They have the hearts I looked everywhere for. But I told Terri I would make some shams with them (actually typed 'shames', can't imagine what I was thinking with that one) I'm so embarassed that I couldn't get them out but had to do the birthday thing for that man of mine.

Gosh, y'all have made some beautiful beautiful B E A U T I F U L blocks! It's so heart warming to know that you have taken these babies and my family into your hearts! The Lord led me to the right group when I was out looking for a place to learn and share!
    Love,
    Sharon/mimisharon

Sharon, you shouldn't stress over any of this...Roy's party was a happy time that you all needed in the midst of all of the saddness...Make your shams, they just missed the trip around the world with the rest of the squares...Boy, can you hear the stories that those blocks are telling!!!!!

I so hope they bring smiles to the faces of the wonderful folks making them and that the sharing of the story of my neice and her children will remind someone of the safety requirements of on the water fun.

stories about the fabrics chosen, reasons for doing them, ah yes, the stories will be abounding I'm thinking.

Sharon....you have alot of things to do. No worries that you didn't get them out. You get the shams done, I'll finish the rest.
These girls and their dad are going to be over the moon when they get everything.
