I like the pics of the mug rugs. They are all pretty. I have plenty of zig zag stuffies too. I also have a ka-zillion projects going, but wouldn't miss these mug rugs.

Ok here are some of my rugs in progress. this is the front and back, no binding yet.
this mug rug was made out of a recycled hand made & painted pillow cover. The person that painted it has her signature on the label with mine. She did a wonderful job of sewing the outline of the images she painted. Her sitiches and painting were dang near perfect. I free motioned around her work. I found this pillow cover at a goodwill, it was way to nice of fabric and handwork for me to pass up. It worked perfect for this project. I'll put the binding on my rugs later.
This is one i'm playing with now.

Sent my PM. I'm excited for this one. A fun project for sure... and no mitered corners?! Just another bonus. I'm getting better at my corners & am even proud of them, but a round project is fine by me.

So when I export from picasa i have a choice on the size picture i want to export to a file on my desktop. I'm doing a round mug rug, I want it to look as though you are looking into a pond at a coi fish. I put organza over the fish to see if I like the effect. When i post the picture on the board, it must be cropped, lightened and made the size best for observing on the computer.

the first picture is 380 pixels
,

The second picture is 640 pixels,

The third is 800 pixels.
