    Tuesy,

Love you bow tie quilt. Please do not give up on the Doll Quilt Swaps. Is your partner new? Maybe she does not know all the ropes (I know I did not my first time), please give us all a chance. Maybe she is just overwhelmed. I know sometimes I think my quilt is great and then I get my partner's and I think ewe, I stink at quilting.

All the Doll Quilt's are fantastic. They all share just a little bit love.

Again, your quilt is quilt beautiful and thank you for sharing. :)

    Susan

tuesy, I hope you're just having a bad week & not usually so hasty to judge. 22nd was 4 days ago & so many things could have happened, as others have mentioned. Please give your partner a chance to reply before selling all of us (her/him included) under the bus. If something bad has happened, you will feel bad about this. Please rethink your harsh words & decision to drop out. Life is too short to let one situation keep you on the sidelines. By the way, you did a fantastic job on your bow-tie DQ.

I like your little bow tie quilt, I would sure want you for a partner anytime! I am so in-experienced at these little ones that I second guess myself all month long, finally get it done and mailed off, then turn right around and sign up for another one. Don't give up when you do such beautiful work, you will be cheating one of us out of one of your creations!

    Hey tuesy,
I agree with Rhonda. The quilt you made is wonderful and I would be glad to have one like it anytime. I hope to get you for a partner sometime, so don't quit.

    Very nice. What cute dragonflies.

I did see she posted on the 23rd on the April Doll Quilt Swap, so I honestly don't know what to think.
I decided I'm posting it here anyways. I haven't gotten any new messages from her, so I'm clueless..
I guess I'm kinda funny that I believe when someone gets something regardless if it's their "cup of tea" or not, at least let the person who sent it that you got it and say "Thank you". This will be my last Doll Quilt.
No! Please don't drop out. I love the quilt you made. Something probably just came up like you said, "life." Could be computer problems, illness, travel, camera problems, etc. I haven't heard from the one I sent my quilt to either. Sometimes it is easy to get lost on the board. She may just not have found the right place to post yet. I watch several threads, but it can be confusing. Your partner may be new to quilting and the board. Please don't write us off just yet. I also check each day to see if my partner got her quilt and if she liked it, etc. She is very busy and I also told her to take all the time she needs on the quilt she is doing for me. This is supposed to be fun, and I have a feeling that when we hear from our partners, they will have good reasons for being a little slower than some of the others to post. Please stay??

well I would just like to say that I have swapped blocks etc. with many different people and have not always had a pic posted or even a post saying that they got it until I sent a pm atleast a week or two later just to be sure. I have also wondered if they didn't like it but that did not make me feel the need to vent on the thread outing them on it.

I myself get busy and haven't always had time to instasntly take and download pics to post but have a second to say "yes" to another swap. I have posted pics later than 4 days.

I have also had someone post pics of my items almost a month late.

    I STILL continue to swap.

Tuesy, I love your bow tie quilt! I haven't tried that one yet.

Sorry folks, but I can understand why Tuesy said that. I happen to agree. I never did get any response what so ever from my secret santa and I sent some really nice things too; and that was, hummm how many months ago?

I was reluctant to join this swap because of it , but I thought I'd give it a try. I guess I was lucky this time.

I for one have been burned so many times that is why I understand where Tuesy is coming from.

To all of you that have not been burned you are fortunate, to those of us who have, well, we are a little gun shy. I hope everyone understands and will not hold it against us.
