Hi tuesy...it's me swimer girl....you make wonderful quilts....remember you said I could use your darling quilt that my Simba liked to lean against.... for my avatar...so I think you should stay in...hopefully you wil get a response to your quilt.....that is a very important part of this swap...we all need to remember that....big hugs to you...

I received my little quilt from jljack! I love it!!!! She said she had posted a picture but I didn't see it. Maybe Chele moved it to the 'picture' site. It has my favorite color, pink, in it and also flowers. There is a beautiful bird in the center, it looks like paper pieced, one of my favorite methods, and prarie points next to one of the borders. She also sent me a really cute striped wooden cat for my kitty collection and a beautiful piece of fabric. Thank you, thank you. I love all the little quilts I have received. They seem to have come on days when I have just needed that extra little lift. Hers came on a day when I just can't seem to get out of pain no matter how many pain pills I gulp down. I was the best part of the day. Many blessings and all the quilts everyone has done have been absolutely beautiful. There is alot of caring being passed around. Thanks again, jljack. Yours will be out by the weekend along with Quilt Mom's.

I sent the quilt I made to Alu_Rathbone and she sent me the sweetest Thank-You note. I am so proud of her for learning to sew and quilt. I am sending a picture of the doll quilt I sent to her in case she doesn't have a digital camera.

I am so glad that you like it - I understand that life happens and becoming an aunt this past month has kept you quite busy as well as school. I will be looking forward to getting my quilt when you get it done.
Keep us posted on how school is going and how we can help you as you learn to sew and quilt - I have been wanting to get a group started in my local community for young women who are interested in learning to quilt and you have inspired me to pursue that goal - I hope there are some here who have the same level of interest and enthusiasm that you do.
How is the new baby doing? Give us the details - girl/boy - etc.
