I'm still waiting too...we'll just keep company until we get our little prizes. I was blessed with a little quilt top from n2scraplvr the other day, and that was really better than getting a swap quilt...it came from her heart, not an assigned partner!! It was so sweet...a scrappy little pinwheel quilt with a twisted ribbon border. I am going to quilt it up and post pics in a week or two...when things calm down!! Ha! Like that's ever going to happen!! :-)

I got laparshall's DQ & I'm floored with joy! She did my Avatar & it's to scale & just sooooo gorgeous. My DGD designed it in Paint Program & I've made pics of it & the one I sent her, so I promise tomorrow when I get a break I'll post both of them. She also sent me three packs of seeds that I'll make pics of & pray I get them to grow here in the South. I feel like it's Christmas. Thanks Linda.

I'm working on alterations for a customer, so hope to get this order for his wife out. We had awful weather from late Fri nite until late last night & I just stayed in bed a lot, awaiting in case I needed to grab pillows & blankets to get in the bathtub if a tornado came. My phone & Internet were out, so I didn't have communications......plus my DISH Network was off the right station (I didn't know it until today), so I didn't know what was going on except it was storming. I'm a scaredy cat.

jljack, so sorry to hear about your mom. You are both in my prayers and will pray for wisdom for the doctors. I haven't forgotten your DQ. Far from it. Hopefully you will think it's worth the wait when you get it. I want it to be very special. If I could just whip it out I would but I just can't work that way. I ended up doing more on Quilt Mom's and just told DH that I should have just quilted it and got it out instead of doing my brainstorm but too late now. I just can't seem to get ahead of anything. Thursday they are doing the first stage needed to fry the nerves in my back to interrupt the pain signal. I hope and pray it is successful. Tomorrow I'm getting 7 kitties from the shelter and my little guy is going to be tested and get his first shots. Ouch! Anyways, you are in my thoughts and prayers and may God hold both you and your mom fast in His hands and close to His heart.
