That is a great pincushion. It reminds me of the little tools I carry around with me in the spring. lol.. It was in the upper 60's today. Kids below us all out on their 4-wheeler.

Hi ladies!! Ooommmgggg have I been out of commission working onmy pincushion, but I should hopefully be back at it to orrow. Wednesday 6 out of 9 of us that went out to dinner Monday fell ill with a baaaaaddddd case of food poisening!! Omg I can't remember ever being this sick in my life!! I was sickest with most waking up this morning recovered. I've got a lingering fever, headache and neckache but based on everyone elses symptoms I hope to be better tomorrow. Funny is I was the first one down and the last one healed. Ugh!! I did report the restaurant to our county, and they most definitely feel that since so many of us, from different addresses even, fell ill, that it was food poisening.
SO, Ill get my PC finished this weekend and mailed out Monday. I hope thats still within the guideline timeline!!!

Kim, so sorry to hear that. happened to once, I thought I was gonna die. good for loosing weight though. hope you're feeling better very soon. that restaurant needs to compensate you.

My partner should have rec'd her pc today. if not definitely by tomorrow. Please let me know you got it o.k.

lynnie I am sorry I never thought about the fact that not all men should be fathers! I want the themes to be helpful, not bring back bad memories so a dad theme is a definite no go. Maybe just a generic summer theme with an alternate color choice of yellow for the sunshine? What do all think about that??? I originally was thinking americana and r/w/b for July, but in hopes of having international swappers I was thinking maybe just saying patriotic and flag colors.

Hope you are feeling better Kim, food poisoning is no fun! No worries about mailing you have plenty of time. The last day to mail is the 21st.

I have never done buzzard day in Hinckley, not a creature I want to celebrate. Now if they had a flamingo day around here I would be all over that!

Food poisioning, that's not good but glad that you and all your friends are ok. Did you all have the same thing? I never went to Buzzard's Day but I'm usually in that area a lot during the week. I am almost sure I saw one the other day. It was bigger than the usual hawks. I really wish it was time for yard sales. I just found this cute baby carriage in my stuff. Of course it's going to be a pincushion. Maybe I'll go to the Streetsboro flea market. It's supposed to rain/snow today. Everyone have a great day

the sunny theme sounds great. we can do alot with it. anything a person would do on a sunny day. that's a lot of options. and the flag day one for july sounds great too.as you said, internationals can join in that too. sunny days are here again, I hope!

Someones needlebook is out for delivery today. I like the thought of maybe a parade or picnic for july also. I haven't had a father since I was 12 yrs old and my kids father was not a father at all. So I understand where lynnie and some others may not want that as june. But there are June brides,some county fairs etc. Or just a different pin cushion other than the reg. red tomato.lol.
