I don't know about Lauriejo's pin cushion but the one Diane sent me is 3 1/2" so yes the pieces are tiny. The colors she choose for both work very well together.lynnie Diane sent me a page with 4 patterns of the pineapple block on it. If you search paper pieced pineapple you may find a free pattern to print off.I love paper piecing. Also thanks for the castle info. I guess I don't live in a castle.lol.

What great pincushions you got today. I didn't get anything today but I'm not sure if the mailman came or not. I usually always get some mail, even though it's junk mail. I don't live in a castle either. They are calling this a castle but it was only supposed to be the gatehouse until he built the real castle but his wife wouldn't live in the woods so he never built it.

No Pincushions here either today. went to my be to start my aqua and white log
cabin. 3 blocks done, about 60 or so more to go.
I don't live in a castle, I live in a condo. My cat is the queen and my dh treats me
like a princess at times. but Zoey is the one with the tiaras, and a throne and us
    her waitstaff.

Did you know that they have beads in Walmart? I needed some plastic shoeboxes and went by that aisle and was so surprised. They had 7" strands like the ones in JoAnn's for $4. I didn't really have time to look so I'll have to go back.

I got the cutest kite pincushion from Susan (JuneBillie) today. She also included some designer binder clips and purple embroidery floss. Thank you so much. I love it!

Whoops made some room in the inbox. The kite pincushion is cute, and perfect considering how windy it has been lately!

Klaws I am glad you like it. I kept thinking about doing a different one, but then when I seen the little pattern for the kite I just couldn't get it off my mind. lol.. Yes lauriejo I grew up always hearing March winds, so thought of that too. It was always considered kite month. Klaws I thought about making the little ties different going down the kite string, but thought they looked natural like that. I did though mean to use a little starch or glue spread over the outsides and forgot. My memory is sure not what it use to be.

My needle book was delivered yesterday to it's person, so maybe we will hear from her soon.

Look forward to seeing more pics of others, and to hear of everyone getting their special goodies.

I also don't live in a castle, and don't want to unless it comes with all the people who will keep it clean for me. lol....

    klaws, cute pincushion.
I'm glad I don't live in a castle, it would be too cold and damp.
I feel like I do sometimes, b/c this is my dreamhouse.

Well I would like to be able to afford a castle. But I would rather live in a small cottage by a lake.
