My partner should receive her pincushion from me tomorrow. Keep a lookout for the mailman/lady. I sent my son to the P.O. yesterday to mail for me, b/c last 2 times, the lady lied to me and said it would be there on a certain date, and didn't show up on time. figured she had something against me. He goes, maybe you'll get it on time. my other partner is due on Thursday. Please let me know as soon as you get it, and if you like it.Oh, don't forget to post a pic for me.

There is no spring inspiration here. Yesterday was so cold. Today it is 21 and not too bad but I think I heard the S word for tomorrow but I looked and it's flurries. They are so wrong lately that I'll probably have a blizzard. I'm done with my pincushion and almost done the needlecase and I just made a chicken pincushion but not quite finished yet. I have to sew the things in my sewing room in the basement and if I have any hand sewing I have to go on the second floor to my bedroom for that. I had gotten a birthday present last month that said I was supposed to get it the day before my birthday and I got it a day later.

My inspiration came in the form of a pc. of fabric I found in my sewing room, on the floor, of course. It's all flowers and now it's a pc for may. oops, gave a hint away of what's to come.
We got the news of the s word, and now it's down to the f word, flurries for tomorrow.
I need to see some flowers at least crocus, and they aren't showing heads anyplace yet.it went up to 32 today.

I was out the other day and about 15 wild turkeys crossed in front on the car. I only got some of them. This is my bird make do pincushion but I didn't like the bird pattern, and the basket I found when doing some cleaning and what a cute pincushion in a basket. I can't wait for the yard sales to start

I am always surprised at how different wild turkeys are from domestic turkeys. Cute pincushions. I hadn't thought about combining my needlework and pincushions.

nh very cute pin cushions. last evening there were 4 deer behind our house. I just watched them never thought to take a picture as we see them all the time here in the country. I still after being here 34 yrs enjoy watching the wild life. Geese flew over heading north.Hope they're right that spring is on it's way. Lauriejo did you get someone to swap another pc?

I finished my needle case but I'm not real happy with my pc. I'll have to work on that a little more. I fell yesterday and messed up my knee so it will be a couple days before I can get to the post office anyway.

So far this winter I haven't fallen on my knees, crap I probably just jinxed myself lol. Staying home and playing with fabric is not a bad way to recuperate.

Yes I'm happy to say I haven't fallen on my knees yet either for this year. I sure did last year, but I did have to have a dandy of a cortisone shot in my left knee at the Rhuematologists about a week or two ago. That is probably why too. lol..

Those are pretty pincushions nhnative. I love those wild turkey pictures too. I love seeing them. Me and my husband see them like that sometimes when we go see my son which is only about 1 1/2 miles from us, but even more secluded.

We are having lots of coyote, fox, some have sited the park let loose black bears. I want to see one (bears), but just not standing right next to me, unless he or she will be my friend. lol.

I am still working on my needlecase. I am slow, and getting slower every day. lol...
