I was afraid of that. I loved the Shaker Tree shop, I hope they had insurance and will be able to reopen. Although I am sure insurance won't begin to cover their costs.

Lynnie I know you are supposed to get way more snow than us, but hopefully it won't last very long. I hope Ginger took a pic before she mailed so we can see your new pc.

Lawsonmugs I am not going anywhere at least I hope not, but this month have several things I am working on. In April I have a big porch to paint, finishing something for my aunt, another project, and some quilt blocks. If I was the old me it wouldn't be a problem, because I use to have lots of energy. I know this is not physical work,(well the porch is)lol... but some times I can't get out of bed, so it's that kind of thing. And if you all start making me feel sad, I will end up joining anyway, and well, please help me out.

Nhnative we have our day lily shoots coming up too. I love those. Does anyone on here have a butterfly bush? If so are we suppose to cut them down for rebloom? I love my butterfly bush, and last year it was beautiful, and that was it's first year of full bloom after planting it.

Here are my tulips. My second year with them. (I have the opposite of a green thumb so this is so exciting!) Only waaaaayyy too early. Poor things are so confused. Today it was 82 and sunny but tomorrow is supposed to be 63 and bring rain, wind, hail..... I hope they survive.

LLWinston44 your tulips are so pretty. My dad has a lot of tulips. He is suppose to give me some sprouts from his Rose of Sharon bushes. I was suppose to have dug them up last year, but hadn't. Everyone in our family have some of dad's Rose of Sharon bushes. He has some for me right next to his cellar. He built the cellar with my grandfather when he was a kid.

I have lettuce growing now. In the mini things I put the seeds in they are now about 2" high. I bought a wide rectangular pot today to transplant them. I can't wait until the first bite of fresh lettuce.

Susan do you grow leaf or head lettuce? I have tried to grow leaf lettuce in the past with no success.

This is a picture of the cute dutch pin cushion I received yesterday from Dya.(fabric lover) It's so cute and I need to stuff it and take a better picture. I was excited to show everyone. Also she sent some extra fabric and a pretty dutch cow refrigerator magnet. Thank You Dya. American Hugs Mary
