Nelco, I have the top done on your mug rug. I just have to cut the back fabric, batting, pin, and quilt. I am having lots of fun with it.

Ctyankee, your New York Beauty is gorgeous. I love all those beautiful rich colors, and such a magnificent design. I would love someday to make one to display on my wall.

Dotty -- glad to see you're back! I'd love to see San Francisco. I've always wanted to see that city, ever since I read that a children's book on the big earthquake.

Teresa -- love your NY Beauty, too!

Funny how so many people want to visit SF. Being from here in CA. I AVOID it like the plague! But, I can see wanting to visit, well maybe just once. Best trip to SF was by bus to all of the cities fabric stores! and lunch at the Culinary academy. Was so much fun and I didn't have to drive in the traffic!!

My daughter has a good friend who lives there, who is trying to talk her into moving to San Francisco. If she moves there, it will give me an excuse to go there!

I worked on my mug rug this afternoon/evening. It's done and I quite like it! Hope my partner does, too. Now I only need to find some extras and mail it - will do that Monday!

If any of you just feel like PPing and want to do another "new york" feel free to do that and then just send it my way. I would be very very happy and just love it. If you need fabric, no problem just let me know. I have tried so many times and the garbage really loves me

The weather here is supposed to get in the mid 50's this week...hopefully my garden will be nudged to "wake up". Am looking for those first crocus' to peep their little heads out of the ground. That is usually the sign that means my garden is waking up. Can't wait!
