Janice I love it they are all great but I think my favorite is the purples.

D Henson it's the one on the bottom with the vests it's so drab, the stars help to make it brighter but ugggggg. also your blocks are terrific

Those were the difficult ones for me to put together I'm glad I just kept working on it and looking it's a great lesson in color and contrast for me.

Libster your already done? so many great combinations love those purple and blacks.

I want to take a second to remind you all of two things:

1) You should have read every word of the first post in the thread, with all the rules and info. The second post will help you ensure your blocks come out to the required 6.5" square. Blocks that are made incorrectly will have to be returned to you, unswapped, so be sure you read those posts! We all need to be on the same page.

2) Please follow this thread by subscribing to it. Sometimes new information is posted (like the early closing of sign ups) and everyone needs to know what's going on. Please contribute to the thread too, so we know you are still there, still playing along.

I just may do that sewbiz. who knows, I may end up with a whole Kaffe Fassett nine patch quilt then. They make great leader enders and then it helps to just sew something in between all the binding and complex blocks I have coming up. And in addition thereto, sew them while doing my embroidery project that needs done, a couple of them. Sounds like a plan.

I'm loving all the pretty blocks being posted. We are going to have fantastic quilts. My fabric for my hourglass blocks should be delivered tomorrow. Soon as it's here, I'm going to start on them.

Whoo hooo! I got a used camera from eBay, and it works! It doesn't wash out the color, I'm afraid it's just a pastel block. lol

Okay, I changed my mind. The flash is a little too bright. Maybe it will work better in daylight. lol Here's some more practice shots. Or-- it is as it is. :-) I'm not a good photographer anyway.
