Yes, Terri, glad to hear that you're feeling better. It just takes a while and then it gradually does get better. Just don't over do it. When you get tired, ain't nothing wrong with a nice long nap. I swear by it.
I'm looking forward to seeing the elephants too. They were so cute!

SBG, There was only a small scrap of the owl and pussycat fabric from a friend who was off-loading some of her scraps to me. I remarked to her it was cute, but she didn't remember where she got it.

More blocks that are fun to see! Great job on some of the early finishes!

I loved that poem (by Edward Lear) when I was a child, and I still do now. It will be on my 'read to the grandkids' list... for when I actually have grandkids. So will Horton Hatches the Egg, a favorite book of my childhood, and all the Winnie the Pooh books.

Well ladies, I have to say that the skinny sashing QAYG method I posted is the quickest and easiest, but Kass' method with wide sashing w/ added batting strips is a better looking method in the end. I used it for the 5 lap quilts I made from my Boom 19 blocks. I love the smooth joins and how you can't even tell it's a QAYG. It's worth the extra time.

Marti Michell is the queen of QAYG. She has a couple of Craftsy classes on the subject. All different methods for all different kinds of quilts. I learn something every time I watch her. I love her method for adding borders.

Note to self. Don't wake up and start sewing before you had 2 cups of coffee. Now I have to rip 7 blocks cause I didn't change the seam allowance. Ugh. That's what I get for trying to get it done early. Oh well, no loss.

Oops, Gannyrosie! It happens to the best of us. I was math challenged yesterday, so I had a few seam-ripper moments too.

Grannyrosie, my new machine starts up and screen asks if you want to continue with the last stitch out you were using. Love it, no more forgetting to move the foot over

Pretty blocks, Terri. Love that pink on the top and the blue on the bottom. (I do believe I've seen the blue lately, right?)
