I was wondering if that was going to come up... I almost made a "rule", but didn't because we have enough rules already! I would prefer not to see the same fabric in more than two groups of 10. Think about it... someone's quilt may have too much of that fabric scattered about and not all the variety that they would desire. It also makes it harder for me, as the swapper, to not distribute too much of one fabric to any one person. Use your scraps, not your yardage, as much as possible.
    Thanks for asking!

edited to add: Maybe I misunderstood what you were asking... You can use any one fabric as much as you want in one group of ten. Two, if it is unavoidable (people with a small stash, not many scraps, etc.).

I think I must have not worded right, I meant that a set of ten could have multiple fabric used but none of the fabric in one set of ten would show up in another set. However, a set doesn't have to be the same for all ten.

    Thanks for clarifying.

Yes, that's fine. Sorry, I've been sick and not thinking real clearly.

What I said about using the same fabric in two sets was WRONG. One set only, please.

Since the packages are starting to come in, here is a rundown of the group's progress. We are back down to 20 swappers, as one of our ladies had to drop out due to family issues.

I'm going to try really hard to finish my sets this weekend. That is my goal! It's been a tough week here. We were supposed to hear back on Wednesday whether or not we are going to need to move with my DH's job. We are still waiting; the stress is really getting at me! I even have pre-approval on a house loan and have found a house.... Now I have to sit all weekend with still no answer... Hopefully some scrappy 9-patches will ease the nerves.

NZ, hope everything works out fine and the outcome is what you wished for.

I have been finished with my 9 patches for almost 2 weeks. They are in the envelope and just need to go to the post office to be mailed. Geez, I better get a move on it! Been busy doing yard work, the leaves in Wisconsin fall off of the trees in autumn, in Alabama they fall off of the leaves in spring! Between the water oaks and the real oaks it looks like it is raining leaves!

My blocks have been ready to be sent for awhile, however life keeps getting in the way. First daughter had to have emergency surgery, appendicitis. So out of town for two plus weeks. Finished up my 7 sets, ready to go, then hubby goes into a seizure and stuck in the hospital to another week. He's home now. But 4 days of test, They finally concluded that his low sodium count caused the seizure. Hope this is the end of this, cause I have sewing to do. Will ship them out this week.

Oh my Grannyrosie, you’ve had a tough month. Sure hope your daughter and husband are doing well.

I have finished 7 sets and will be working on my 8th soon. Here are a few more to share.
