Happy Easter everyone - hope all had a nice holiday. My nine patches are done - wanted to show them to my daughter today before mailing them. I plan to put them in the mail tomorrow - just finished putting them into the plastic bags. I originally thought 80 would be overwhelming to make, but they went together so quickly. I had withdrawal when I was finished - it became addicting making them. Now the wait to see everyone's patches will seem endless. This is my first ever swap - I've enjoyed every minute of the process.

Yes, it is addictive to make these! I thought it would take much longer for everyone to make 80, which is why I gave us til the end of April to get them to me. Next time I will give a shorter time frame.
Can't wait to see your blocks, obrien. Are you not able to post pictures? I'm sure everyone would like to see them. If you want, I can take some pictures for you when the blocks get to me.
I'm trying to get the quilting on my civil war quilt done, then I can play with some more blocks from my scraps.

obrienwv, Welcome to your first swap! It's my first 9-patch swap, and I'm pretty excited about it!
Here is some fabric that was a really cool ink blot pattern. What did I see in the ink blots? Well, honestly, I saw an 8 pointed star quilt pattern! lol Now that it's all cut up, it's hard to see it anymore. And what did I see in the green print? It's the decorative wire over the windows of the asylum. We are looking out to greener pastures. :-)

I already have my blocks all packaged, but I made extras of some of my favorite ones so I'll take a picture of those and post them tomorrow. Sewbizgirl, that would be great if you could take pics of the others after you receive them - thank you.
