Beautiful!

I don't have any immediate plans for my squares, but I'll be saving them up for something special.

Already working on my squares for the next swap, using fabrics from my scrap basket. Some are quite tame, and others are pretty wild! I figured I'd better get a head start, since we'll be out of town for several days next month.

Maude, that sure is a cute setting idea for our 9patches! The example looks like Spring-- my tulips have just started blooming this week, along with the violets, and the fruit trees are starting to blossom. The daffodils have been going strong for awhile now.

I love my blocks too... but have been so busy quilting unfinished tops since I bought a sit down longarm at the Paducah show! It seems to take up most of my sewing time. By the time we finish the second swap I should have enough to put together a good sized quilt. Not planning to use any settings but will simply sew the blocks together, trying to alternate darks and lights as much as possible.

I have playing around with more of your blocks today. So relaxing after a busy past few days! We put an offer on a house yesterday, so hopefully it works out in our favor. Whew, I hope I won't need to buy another house for a l-o-n-g time!

I'm not as fast as Givio when it comes to making the star blocks, but I'm loving the slower pace right now.
