Default March Fabric Postcard Swap - In Flight or Green & White

This year I am hosting a variety of themes. Sign-ups begin for the March postcard swap. You will be making One Fabric Postcard.

There will be two themes this month:

Theme 1. You will design a postcard around the theme In Flight - things that fly.
Theme 2. Green & White. Design a postcard including these two colors.

My swaps are open to all levels of sewing. For a tutorial on how to make fabric postcards, please refer to my post in tutorials How to Make a Fabric Postcard. Please post pictures of the postcards you receive.

    *Cards must measure approx 4 x 6
*Must predominantly be sewed and quilted. Embroidery by hand or machine is also welcome.
*Must have some type of finished edge.

    Sign ups Begin 2-14-18

I would like to try this one, but I have a question first. Do you mail the postcard just like it is and have it hand stamped or do you put it in an envelope???

Hi Maggie_Sue, welcome to the swap. You can mail yours as is, put it in a clear envelope or go the cheaper route and put it in a regular first class envelope. If u mail as is or put in clear envelope, post office will have to hand cancel it, and might charge you more because of its thickness. Lately I been mailing in a first class envelope and slapping a regular stamp on it.

Add me again CookieZenmilk. I have some ideas.

I will send mine next time as you said. I hadn't been in a swap in a while as I use to so I sent my package in a greeting card size envelope and put in a couple of things I didn't think was a big deal to mail. Well he said it was now a package and that is what he charged. lol.... I didn't mine, but will go regular way from here on out with a card in a regular envelope. I just take out my fabric post card with my drawn on stamp and have them stamp it, and then seal it up, and have them put the stamp on it on the envelope.
