Well ladies, I did not get a picture of Judy's WH. I haven't even seen it yet, maybe I'll get a pic tomorrow, I will try anyway.

Hi Judy! Welcome from Connecticut! Its cold and rainy here and that's actually a good thing - we were getting desperate for rain. I am planning the quilting for my whirligig - I am trying for a panograph style even though it will be quilted on my mid arm.

Can you send some cold and rain west? It's a balmy 106 here today and not a cloud in the sky! (and won't be for the next month or so....!!!)

My wall hanging is basically done, just needs one more once over checking for stray thread, and a label on the back. The back isn't as nice as I would have liked. I am just now learning how to do real binding, and until now I had only bound mug rugs, well I thought on this bigger wh I would machine stitch the back of the binding. I don't think I'll do that again, the hand stitched binding worked and looked great but the machine sewn not so much. I'll post a pic later.

Hello everyone. I had a good day today getting the WH finished for the end of the month and then realized after the last stitch that I too, forgot a sleeve. I like to add it into the binding so now I will have a few more inches of hand stitching to do before I can call it done.

I like the way this one turned out. My machine quilting seems pretty good in this one, with happy tension.

    Enjoy

I am ready for the swap, and I thought it wasn't going to happen this time around. I am happy.
    Have a good week everyone.
    peace
