With the end of the weekend closing fast I want to share what I did during the past two days. I am happy to have the top finished. The person I am making this for wants a border with family photos in it as a memory quilt. It would not be my favorite plan for this beauty but it is her call.

I was at my favorite antique shop too and came home with this little stand.

    Look what it is!

Having the tag still attached is wonderful.

Make your week a good one.

Marion, I am starting on another little!

I just did a foundation paper pieced / machine applique / reverse machine applique I was pretty proud of. It was for the boom swap so sadly I don't get to keep it

Can you talk her into keeping all the photos in sepia tone?

Kass, I wish I could. It would be the best way to include them. She is a bit stubborn. LOL

Your blue and gold block is amazing, lots of techniques used. Where on the block is each one used?

The rays are FPP, the center is machine applique, and the outer ring is reverse machine applique.

By hand, usually either the whip stitch (my favorite) or the ladder stitch.

Actually got a UFO finished! It's called Aura out of the Seamingly Scrappy book. Pattern is for a 36"x36" wallhanging. I made the blocks lots bigger and ended up with 76"x76". Used my Marti Michell templates. I like the way it came out.

This is super stunning Skaduzy. A great pattern and lovely colors. How did you quilt it?

Ube - that is gorgeous ... yes, people can be stubborn with what they want LOL I've done up a couple that I was not happy with, but they loved it!

What design do you have in mind for littles?

Kassaundra and Skaduzy - those are beautiful! Gorgeous job ladies!
