Here are couple of wall hangings that I finished. The bow tie came from vintage blocks I bought off Ebay a while back. Has such a fun feel. Then this cow wall hanging that I made SEVERAL years ago is finally finished. It is actually adorable. I put buttons on for eyes from my collection. Each cow block is quilted with a different backfill by color of cows. Then I did a pasture texture for the cream backfill. I could use these for a swap. Hmmm, wondering.

Both are awesome, I'd be proud to get either one.

Love the scrappy wall hanging, quiltermomma. The cow one is the best. I was thinking of skipping this time but if the cows go in I might try and make the mad dash to see if they might come home to our farm. right now my 19 yr old is working with cows in the central valley as she is interested in becoming a veterinarian of live stock.

Of course I could always make a wall hanging with cows myself. It doesn't look too hard. Sure too cute!

QuilterMomma...your wall hangings are great. I love the cows.

Mine is almost finished but I don't like the way my appliqué looks so if I can't redo I will restart...... on something completely different.

Figure out what you don't like and let us know. Are you a beginner at applique or was it just an off time for doing it and the needle didn't want to play well? That happens to me a lot.

    So what's up with it?

Hello all! I have been so busy with my other hobby http://www.quiltingboard.com/general...y-t278857.html that I've been quite negligent in reading and posting on this thread!

The pics that I am seeing on here are awesome!!!! I always love to scroll through and admire everyone's creativity!

I will take pics of those that I have as options for this swap and maybe we can vote on which one goes!!!

It is finally raining here in Ottawa - after two solid weeks of no rain, it is very welcome! Time to clean the house, and get some hard core quilting done!
