I've got a question for the group.

Does anyone here plan on adding tabs to their wall hanging? I was going to, but if it's not necessary then I'll skip that step.

    Thanks

Some add hangers, and some don't. I would say do what is comfortable for you. I put corner triangles on my last one, but am not sure that I will this time...not sure how the recipient will want to hang it!

I'd say yes, if it is possible, since it is a wall hanging. I will hang it up, if it has a way to hang it.

I like to have a way to hang it as I do hang the ones I get . I have a special wall and swap them over from time to time

I add a hanging sleeve or corner pockets on mine. I like them better than the tabs because if you don't want to hang it then it doesn't show. Sometimes I have sewn the tabs down on the back so they won't show when I do hang it. Just a personal thing I guess that I like better. Either way is your preference

I always add some form of hanger, being a wall hanging swap. I use them as the signature block and they become meaningful to the project as a whole.

Tabs are one of the hardest to do to get them spaced and at the right height so that the project will hang straight.

I would opt for a sleeve or

corner triangles which are the easiest to do.

Anna, pictures of your Snow White would be nice to see. We could all post a picture of where we sew.

This is from when I was working on a few scrap quilts at the same time, curved Log cabin and braid quilts. The room is a mess with scraps but oh, what fun I had.

My niece and I share a sewing room and our sewing tables face each other. We both use Featherweights, although we each have other machines. You really don't want to see the rest of the room...there is a longarm (which neither of us can claim to be proficient using) and several (stuffed) shelves of fabric. My machine is the one with the pincushions....
