I always love to hear when people discover that things aren't as hard as they think, like this star, curved piecing, y seams to name the most feared techniques. When we take our time and do just a little practicing we can get really comfortable with all these "too difficult for me" techniques.

We just have to try and not give up. We aren't born knowing how to walk. Getting comfortable doing these really opens up the avenue of creativity and possibilities of our craft.

I received your beautiful log cabin wall hanging in the mail on Monday. It's so awesome! I have a friend in my quilting guide who also uses scraps of fabric to make log cabin small quilts.

I love it! Thanks so much for making it.

My mail box had a very nice surprise today. Annaquilts created a lovely WHing. These colors are wonderful together, very cool for summer viewing. Thank you so much Anna. A sweet FQ, a creative tote and M&M's too! I am saving up FQs for a special project.
