Granky, too funny. My sentiments exactly.

I guess it's a good thing that I have people around me that want my house cleaned more frequently then I do. I am not fussed over a little dust. But, it is by no means filthy. So, I must have reached my happy medium.

If you want a clean home, pack everything up and just have furniture and quilts out. Ask me how I know....Ugh!

Lots of little hints floating around this thread and good ideas.
Love that little monkey. He's so cute!
I got all my appliqué pieces cut out and then decided I want to try something else......back to square one

I'm almost done.... This has been a really fun WH to make. It's taking longer because I'm making two at the same time. The better of the two will be swapped.

Teen, I really like your color pallet. It's so soft and feminine. I've been studying it and pondering the last few days on how you would use it. And, then you threw me through a loop when you posted the fabric with what looks like buttons on a dark background and wonder just how that works with the first set of fabrics. You have peaked my interest. (I love the fabric with the buttons.)

I finally got to work on my Red and White quilt top today. I did a lot of trimming and ironed open all the seams on all the 1.5 inch HST blocks. And, I was also able to piece one more quilt block. So, 2 down, 7 more to go. I will finally have a little more time to sew tomorrow.

I had to take my sick Seniors back to the vet this week. They are hanging on for the moment. One of our sick seniors has a tumor that we need to get more info on and the other is reaching the end of his life span and we have chosen not to do anymore surgery's on him. It's heart breaking but, I think we are doing what is in his best interest. And, I also had to take my son's boxer puppy back to the sinus/eye specialist this week. We got good news on her finally. But, she's still on meds 4 x's a day and has to go back next Monday. But the good news is we may not have to do surgery. So, we'll take good news where we can. So, I have been a very busy dog/puppy mom/grandmom this week.

Oh...when our furbabies are hurting...that is so hard. I have a kitty I adopted over 20 years ago and he's struggling a bit now so I don't anticipate him to last much longer. We get so attached... So sorry about your baby, Judith...but good to hear about the boxer pup...

I should be be able to reveal the finished WH this week. Working on it a bit at a time...
