Poppies are so pretty, especially surrounded by the blues.

He is fine, trailer not so much - in RV hospital at moment! lol So I didn't know the package was part of his mail delivery.
My runner came from Australia and it is so exciting to learn something new so my package included information on the legend of Anzac and a slouch hat pin, in memory of CPL Cameron Stewart Baird VC MG!
I will try to include 3 pics to capture the detail on the runner!
sorry they are sideways - please turn your heads! lol Thanks again m-fay!
I did research today about this Australian soldier who was killed in Afghanistan. What a wonderful way your table runner partner honored this soldier! I feel so sorry for his parents and brother. So many were lost in that God forsaken conflict and more continue to die. I am so sorry for all their families! Poppies have been the symbol of the war dead since the end of World War 1. Will we ever find world peace so we do not have to grieve these lost peoples?
