I love that sewing theme mini, ljdugas! And the buttons.

    Crqltr,
If I found a card like that, I'd buy it for my 29 year old son! And I know he'd laugh...lol

    Patchesnposies,
Your son at ss story made me laugh out loud!
We were at the public library, son was probably 7-8, he found a book called "The Fart Book"...yes, I'm serious.
Of course he wanted to check it out. As librarian was checking us out, I'm squirming.. knowing full well she's going to see the title of that book. She got to it, and I quickly said, "Kids!".

She laughed, and at the same time my "sweet" son blurted out, "Kids?? You're just as bad mom, louder than dad and me both!" There was dead silence..until my grinning son looked at his dad and they both started to laugh.
I wanted to slink out of there and throttle son and hubby at the same time!

    Jan,
I hang all of mine in my sewing room. I like the idea (can't recall whose it was) of getting the lil mini clothespins, and hanging them from a piece of ribbon. You could paint the lil clothespins, or just leave them natural...

    Kif

THANK YOU TO crqltr for the two very pretty mug rugs, Michigan coffee, small scissors and the kitty toys. The destination one is of a cabin in the woods fall colors, and the 2nd one is of a blue kitty with a feather and a pretty bird scene.. love them. I like someone's idea of hanging all the mug rugs up to enjoy.... I like th is idea. What I have been doing is use the new one until the next one arrives.
Jan the one from me was from the destination swap, I didn't participate last month. I'm so glad you like everything...

That is funny. Yikes I would have died right then and there checking that book out. Now I would take my grand kids in to the library no troubles at all. funny how age has a way of mellowing your fears. Its a cold day again little bits of snow til noon and I am sick to death of this cold weather. It is 10 times milder than last year but the shivers and the shakes and freezing in the morning to change my clothing or wash my hair so early? ugh. no thanks! wish I had my beach in site. oh Ca where are you? lol spoke to my son yesterday going on high 70's. wow. thanks. my daughter in OR had lots of rain yesterday sheesh keep your rain. it rains out there it migrates this way I know it.

LOL Kiffie, it must be that age range of 7-8 when they are proud of "ours"....'cause once they hit teenage they become proud of THEIRS! (And competitive!)

Having boys will cure you of embarrassment that is for sure.

Ladybug's mug rug is a beautiful beach scene! I love the hand quilting and all the puffy unbrellas.

Good job with that sneak peek, Dorothy... can't tell a thing!
