I am so sorry to hear this terrible news. Will send her a note and also pray for her and her family.
I wanted to let everyone know that ladybug's husband was killed in an auto accident the other day. If you would like to send her a card please PM me for information and I will share her address with you. It is such a sad time for her and I hope that the card's she receives from the quilting board will provide her a bit of comfort knowing that we are here to support her. Thanks!

I may be alone here, but I like the thought of receiving what my partner likes. It takes all of the guess work out of it for me. I stress if my interpretation is what they really meant. It also gives me a little peek at their personality.

I am the grateful and delighted recipient of a beautifully sweet (and-totally-me) Mug Rug from Happylab! It is all gorgeous florals and a pieced heart block showing the sky and a quilt shop and flowers in the foreground.....no words do it justice.....I will post pictures in the morning, first thing!
She also sent me a hot pad, it is a 16 patch of florals......what can I say, "PatchesnPosies"! LOL Too awesome. I love them both. The hot pad will go up on the wall along with the Mug Rug so I can see them all the time.
I also received two spools of thread and 3 FQ's in 30's prints, my absolute favorite! Can't wait to show them off in the morning. (My teenage IT guy is at his Civil Air Patrol meeting or I would do it now.)

I am praying that you are just as happy with what I sent you. (Your box was in Kansas City, KS as of 3:00pm) It is supposed to be delivered tomorrow.
BTW, Everyone~We've got a dozen trees into the ground so far......it's a start!
I have everyone hurrying both to beat the heat and to get back to the swaps!
