Hey! My rant must have paid off because I just got a notice that the package has been delivered! I'll calm down now and wait to hear from Mary.

Oh Boy,Oh Boy!!!! Look what I got !! It's so pretty and spring like. I've always wanted to try and make one of these. Are they hard to do? Sorry but as we have been joking about the large baskets I'm afraid mine is still huge.lol.The pictures don't show the handle so I could get nice close ups of the workmanship. Even the card is so cute. Also a personalized made by tag on the bottom. I think I am going to leave it on my kitchen counter and fill with Easter items. Then after Easter move it to my sew room for holding sewing items. It's really a beautiful basket and a very handy size. Thank You so much MizMelly, your a wonderful partner. Now about the post office............

Happy to hear you liked my basket, Mary! Here's a pic I took of it before shipping it out -- this one shows the handle (sorta). And no, they aren't difficult, just a little time consuming, best done in front of a good movie until it's time to stitch the coils together. I have the books "It's a Wrap" and "It's a Wrap II" for inspiration. And a large collection of cotton clothesline!!

The yo yo's and colorful buttons really set it off. Thanks for posting with the handle.

Mary, you are one lucky lady. I've always loved that type of basket but haven't tried to make one. Maybe one day.

Mary that is a beautiful basket you received from MizMelly. I also think that coil work is so pretty. I have not tried it yet either. I do have some beautiful coil coasters someone on the board made me last year.

MizMelly,
That's an amazingly awesome basket you made for Mary! I've not heard of those books, but I'm always up for crafts I can do while watching tv with my hubby.
Regards,
Kif
