March POM Swap
#142
Thanks, everyone! I enjoyed making this, it was something I had on the back burner for years after getting those books and buying up the local supply of cotton clothesline. So this swap gave me the impetus to make one! And now I have another one almost finished, just need to put a binding on the top edge, a handle and some small embellishments. I'll post a pic later when I get it finished! Oh, one tip that I learned is to use batiks because they don't fray as much as other cottons, and I think they really make the design pop!

When trying to decide what to make for this months swap, I watched youtube videos on making that basket MizMelly. They look like fun! You've given me the courage to try one.
All of the baskets are wonderful!
Mine is out for delivery today.

I hope to have my basket out by the end of the week. It's same as done, and so cute that it will be hard for me to send it out. lol... I started to post a sneak preview, but have to locate my batteries. I have done my little basket including the embellishments all by hand sewing, but I so enjoyed it.
