Received my gifts yesterday on St Patrick's Day and from where? no other then Scotland!!! The gifts and the letter was more then I could have asked for, I am now well educated on the one country left to visit on my bucket list, this was such a perfect match for me in the month of March. I am posting my gifts as well as pictures of my daughter in another mail, when you see them you will see why I love this gifts especially! I can tell you it is very hard to tell you the best part of this package from the hankies to the tea bags and post cards, to the scarf to the banner of castles, tartan key chain and so much more, thanks again.

Ok as promised, wanted to send out pictures to Kniette my swap friend for March, like I said I received my gifts from Kniette from Scotland on of course St Patricks Day! These pictures I am posting are of my daughter Katie who went to high school in West Milford New Jersey and the school name are the Highlanders because we are in the highlands of New Jersey. The marching band are 150 students who use marching instruments along with the bagpipes and Highland drums. Can you imagine going to a football game and watching a half time show with bagpipes, lol what a site to see. Most of the kids that play the pipes are a special group of kids that are hand picked, and I am proud to say my Katie was won. She wore the tarten of black and gold that was the school colors and the school song was Scotland the Brave, they have made many trips all over the world including Scotland and West Point Military School on the Hudson have even played in Edinburgh Castle they even have a yearly tatoo. Again I cant express they way I felt when I opened my gift bag.

Finally, I have rid myself of the migraine. I had it for over 5 days. After pills, injections, and then steroids it finally went away. I missed so much on here. I didn't get to say a lot of hints, or praise my SP on and on. So I apologize for that. But, My SP Mary, (happystitchermm), sent me an awesome package. I got BOTH my wish list items, and 3 homemade items, and candy. Hey, what more could anyone else ask for? I am hoping she took a picture so she can show you how talented she is with the snap bag she made, fabric bag, and ST Patty's day wall hanging. Plus fabric, batting, my jean-a-ma-jig, and clover thread cutter pendant, color theory dvd, thread, rotary cutter replacements. The box was endless! Thank you so very much!

I'm so glad you liked the package Teri I love having new swap partners each time - it makes my parcels a lot easier if I can send 'a little piece of Scotland', lol. (For those of you that don't know, fabric is around $22 a metre here and we don't have the same variety of notions as y'all).

Your daughter must be very talented - the bagpipes are very difficult to play! I know Edinburgh fairly well as my daughter went to university there and saw the Tattoo during the Queen's Golden Jubilee year. I love the sound of pipe music, men (and women) in kilts etc.

If you ever make it to Scotland, you know where I live

I received a fantastic package from Ginger (Bullock2us) that made my day. Such lovely items. The cast iron turtle has joined my other turtles on my cabinet at work. The package included Andes mints, an Idaho Spud, a hand crocheted dish cloth (love these), place mat/napkin pattern, 3 continuous line pattern templates, paper quilting templates, a cast iron turtle, quilting tape, grippers, quilting magazine, sewing pouch in bright colors (love it), 6 fabrics in my favorite colors, glue, note page, and pink safety pins. Thank you so much for a the package Ginger. Did a great job of hitting my favorites.
