I sent out my secret pal's package this morning! It should be a short wait for her since it is in state!

I was out of town for several days, and just got my package this morning, too! I was blown away! Twinkie really put a lot of thought into getting things I would like. There are four pretty fat quarters (butterflies are always a safe bet with me) and lots of turtle stuff. I especially like the orange and brown turtle soap dish. TWO kinds of skittles, and a teacup pincushion! I have always wanted a teacup pincushion but was too cheap to buy one, and too lazy to make one. There is also yarn for my knitting and a set of yummy bath beads. I love a nice hot bath.

I'm even more touched because she got these things out to me even though she is dealing with the loss of her sister right now.

Oh, and I completely forgot to mention the makeup bag she made me, which is really cute. I love string piecing, and my old makeup bag is getting a little ratty.

I think it is on page 43. A great package from fidgety :thumbup:

It certainly is a great package, adorable mouse pin cushion, I wouldn't be able to keep that away from my quilting assistants :lol: :lol: :lol: (3 cats and a 7 1/2 pound poodle). They would be as my family likes to say, "off to the races" with it. They think many of my notions are or should be theirs!!! :roll: :roll: :roll:

Notions, like thread, needles, (hand and machine) seam rippers, small scissors, ( my LQS carries the cute stork scissors for $4.95) tape measure, patterns, (Joanns sometimmes has free ones by the cutting counter) rulers, cutting mats, I got several of the small rotating mats sometime before Christmas for gifts at 50% off so they came to about $8.00 each. little bags/cosmetic bags to carry things with you, fabric marking pens, thimbles, etc.

Terryl today we are gonna be close to your type weather here.about 70* and tomorrow 76* how about that.just perfect. I may just get my kitchen done being painted.Gotta go get a few supplies .everybody have a beautiful day. Mary
